From Afar is a folk band from the midwest whose members are spread across the states of Minnesota and Iowa. Across the miles, through the height of the pandemic they were brought together from afar by their love of music and storytelling. Weaving together influences of jazz, American folk, and western classical music, resulting in a sound that is simultaneously familiar yet fresh, classic yet new.
